Breast Augmentation Ankara

Breast augmentation results in a firm and aesthetically charming appearence. The new volume must be planned according to the desire of the patient, body size and breast skin condition. The expectation of the patient and our decision are considered and the ideal plan for the patient is made. Breasts give the characteristic physical appearance of a woman. The breasts may be small due to developmental arrest at puberty for various reasons or may undergo involution and become smaller later in life. There may be asymmetry between the two breasts.

The most common method nowadays is the use of silicon implants. We use silicone breast implants for aesthetic breast augmentation. We also use fat injections for breast augmentation for those patients who do not desire implants and wants autologous support.

The silicone implants are anatomically shaped (tear drop shape) or round. They have a smooth or textured surface. The implant type and shape are chosen individually for every patient and discussed in detail. The implants can be placed in a submuscular, subfascial or submammarial planes according to the individual characteristics of the patient. The incisions we usually prefer are the axillary, periareolar and submammarial types.

Silicone breast implants does not increase the risk of cancer and surgical examination and mammography can be done on breasts with breast implants without any problems.

The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia in hospital conditions and takes approximately one hour. The patient may return to work within 3 days. After 3 to 4 weeks the implant will position itself within the breast and the patient will feel normal.
